Monday 28 July 2008 Dinner Meeting with Nancy Pallin as guest speaker. Nancy will talk about the Blue Gum Forrest in St Ives.

Monday 25 August 2008 Regular dinner meeting. Guest speaker, Dennis Overton on the subject of Colour Blindness.

Tuesday 9 September 2008 Joint meeting with Lions Clubs of Ku-Ring-Gai, Hornsby & Berowra on occasion of District Governors visit. North Turramurra Bowling Club

Monday 28 September 2008 Regular Dinner meeting with Guest Speaker talking about "Sydney Wildlife", a wildlife protection group.

ACTIVITIES

16 August 2008 Monster Garage Sale CAS St Ives (Old Masonic Hall), 6 Stanley Street, St Ives 8.30 am to 1.00 pm. All Item donated by local residents. Donations of saleable goods may be left at the hall on Friday 15 August between 9.00 am and 5.00 pm. Pick ups may be arranged by phoning 9449 4377.

Thursday 2 October 2008 - Pymble Players Whole of theatre booking for "The Quartet from Rigoleto". A great evening anticipated.

St Ives North Venturers, Ku-ring-gai Ranger Guides, CareFlight Hellicopter Service, Enough is Enough Antiviolence Movement, Arthritis Foundation NSW(Camps for children with Arthritis), Ku-ring-gai Youth Development Service, Lions China Earthquake Appeal, $500 each. Mathew Talbot Hostel for homeless men $ 363 LifeLine (4 doz Christmas cakes) $ 432

Fund raising projects include: Sausage sizzles (BBQs), Garage Sales, Sale of Lions Christmas cakes and Lion Mints.

Non Fundraising Activities include: Lions Youth of the Year Quest, Lions Youth Exchange, Lions Peace Poster Contest, Collection of used spectacles for recycling to 3rd world areas. Support of child with a walking device. We assist the Salvation Army with the annual 'Red Shield Appeal' Door Knock
